I made a blanket...

To whom it may concern-

So, it all started on January 3rd when my mother found this Pixel Crochet book by Hannah Muir (BUY THIS BOOK FOR CUTE PATTERNS) and bought it for me. I was in the midst of another project so I couldn't start anything else, but the "Tetris Blanket" pattern definitely jumped out at me. This blanket is made up of almost 300 individually crocheted squares that are then sewn together to make a picture! Super easy! But VERY time consuming. And I didn't get my rhythm down until the last two rows because I suck. But, ya know.

I didn't actually start this project until January 8th. But it took me nearly a month to complete. I finished the blanket on the 2nd of February which is a long time for me. And I've made blankets before. The time consuming part is the actual sewing of all the pieces together. That's where the headaches come in. But I am super pleased with how it turned out! I have some progression photos but honestly the real thing is just so much better.

Thank you to Scott Weiss for modeling for me :P

So, as you can see, it's almost 5.5 feet in height which is great! But that means that I can't possibly lift the whole thing up like that to take a picture... short people problems

Here's his Queen sized bed for scale.
The blanket has been folded in thirds.
TL;DR Sydney makes a ginormous blanket. It's a buttton of squares sewn together and then she gives it to Scott.

Hats for Children

To whom it may concern-

Another project that I worked on lately has to be some hats for children that I made. They're pretty cute! I used some fancy yarn from a local yarn store and I created the pattern as I went along! They sell for $20 a hat! Contact if interested! :)

Here are two of the cute kiddies modeling my hats like the professional models they are :P So so cute! :)

The Introduction

To whom it may concern-

Ladies and Gents. Here's my crochet blog where I will document everything that I have made/will make and give you the opportunity to buy things from me. (I know.. I know.. we're all poor but I figure it's worth a shot.) So, my first post here is more of an introduction and a greeting. Now, I crochet a lot to keep busy, so there will (hopefully) be a BUNCH of posts and I will take requests! So for now, please shoot me a message if there's anything you would like and I will make it so! :)
